What happens when a photographer gets engaged and plans her own engagement photos? Magic!! This engagement session was incredibly meaningful to me. Brooke and I met 7 years ago when she first inquired about a photography mentorship session. She was a young college student and so eager to learn. I instantly felt a kinship and level of trust with her! She became one of my go-to girls for all things photography and one of my lead associates. Through the years we’ve not only developed a friendship, but she’s become like a little sister to me.
Flash forward to last year and I was lucky enough to be there when Brooke proposed to Ian. Brooke and I quickly got to planning all things wedding together (I was even there when she found her wedding dress!). Brooke has always dreamed of portraits on the cliffs of San Diego, so when it came time to her own engagement session, we made that dream a reality! We spent months sourcing the perfect outfits, locations, and keeping our eye on that San Diego weather. The results were truly magical and really portray their sweet love for each other.
I couldn’t be more excited for their wedding this April!! xo
