I remember when I met Laurel and Ryan for the first time at a coffee shop in the North Loop. Laurel started the meeting by saying she cried on the way over out of excitement and ended the meeting by whipping out her checkbook asking how to make us official. I seriously fell in love with these two on the spot and knew that they’d make the most special clients. They did not disappoint!! Laurel is the epitome of joy-filled. She’s so energetic, positive, and let me know countless times throughout her wedding day how grateful she was for our partnership. Ryan, as Laurel described during our engagement shoot, has no flaws except that he doesn’t like dessert 🙂 He is kind, thoughtful, and has the biggest biggest heart for Laurel and his friends & family.
Their wedding day was nothing short of amazing. There were MANY happy tears throughout the day and just as much fun & laughter to follow. Laurel and Ryan chose not to see each other before their ceremony, but instead started their day together with a first touch / prayer, setting their intentions for their wedding day and their marriage. Their ceremony took place outside in a beautiful courtyard in HOT HOT heat, but I never once heard a complaint from anyone! They also are obsessed with the greatest showman and played the soundtrack as they got ready in the morning, on the party bus, and as their grand entrance song. If you know me at all you know that they are MY kind of people!!
