Cat & Jake | Machine Shop Wedding | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

Cat and Jake are married and I’m quite simply obsessed with them! They’re the most genuine humans and I felt so connected to their love story. Cat is in the wedding industry in Duluth, MN had a really solid grasp on how to pull together a meaningful, joy-filled day. My most profound memory of her day was the gorgeous lace skirt she added to her gown for certain portions of the day, made from her mother’s wedding dress who sadly passed a few years ago. Not only was it a sentimental touch, but added so much beauty to her simple gown (see photos of the lace skirt during the getting ready portion of the day, first look with dad, and ceremony). Touching speeches, tear-filled first looks and so much love consumed their day!

Aside from the happy tears and love, it’s also worth mentioning that their squad knew how to have THE BEST time! A lot of their best friends are married, so the bridal party consisted of numerous couples and good friends. You know the crew is fun when a post-ceremony champagne pop turns into a full-on champagne shower! SUCH a fun memory (and they’ve got the photos to prove it!)

Enjoy this beautiful, fun post from their day!
