Anne Marie and Danny’s wedding was truly a real life fairytale. From the bride’s unique gown, to the cherry blossom tree centerpieces, everything about this wedding was unique and inspiration-worthy. No photos will ever to the beauty of this day justice!
Their wedding took place in Anne Marie’s hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin. They started their day getting ready at the home of Anne Marie’s parents and had a perfect summer day as their backdrop. Anne Marie’s gorgeous gown was straight out of a storybook – so feminine and had the most beautiful sheer overlay. She also opted not to have traditional bridesmaid dresses for her girls, but instead selected gowns from her favorite ready-to-wear designer. Can I just tell you I OBSESSED over these bridesmaid dresses all day! The color and the detail was unlike anything I had ever seen!
Every detail from their wedding day was timeless and fit the theme perfectly, from their custom logo and stationary from Nico & Lala to the STUNNING floral & design vision of Buds ‘n Bloom . The Buds ‘n Bloom team even created custom monogrammed pillows & brought in cherry blossom trees as the centerpieces (enter all the heart eye emojis). Anne Marie and Danny opted not to have a traditional sit down dinner, but instead hosted a cocktail inspired evening with food stations throughout the 4-room ballroom. Their food lineup included etched ice sculptures that held an array of sea food, a macaroni and cheese bar, taco bar, an American bar food display, carved meat, salads, AND treats from Nothing Bunt Cake that were transported all the way from Chicago! To fit the theme, they also had passed martini glasses filled with Wisconsin cheese curds and a chipotle mayo dipping sauce as an appetizer & wine glasses filled with Grasshoppers for a dessert. NO detail was overlooked!
Despite its obvious beauty, I LOVE how family-centered their day was. Some of the joyous moments captured with their parents, siblings and the bride’s nieces & nephews were the true essence of their beautiful day. Anne Marie and Danny aren’t just obvious beauties, but also were SO easy-going and had the most kind hearts. Their families couldn’t have been more welcoming and sweet to my team and I, and for that I’ll always remember this special day with the most fond memories.
